Low voltage switch cabinet is generally composed of air switch, leakage protection or isolating switch, which is used to receive and distribute electric energy to avoid cutting off the power protection circuit in case of line failure. The incoming and outgoing wires are also exposed pipes. The concealed distribution box is lying inside the wall.
Installation of air switch in the box
1. When installing the air switch, first pay attention to the position of the installation hole above the box cover to ensure that the air switch position is in the reserved position of the box cover. Secondly, the switches shall be arranged from left to right during installation, and the reserved position of the switch shall be a whole position.
2. The reserved space is generally placed on the right side of the distribution box. A complete position is reserved between the first row of main air switch and sub air switch for the first evacuation switch wiring.
Requirements for zero line wiring
1. The zero line color shall be blue.
2. Lighting and socket circuits generally use 2.5mm2 conductors, and the number of air switches connected in series by each conductor shall not exceed 3. Air conditioning circuit generally adopts 2.5mm2 or 4.0mm2 conductor, one conductor is equipped with one air switch.
3. The zero lines between different phases shall not be shared. If a yellow di wire allocated from phase A is connected with two 16A lighting switches, the zero lines of the air switches allocated to phase A can only be equipped with these two air switches, and then they are directly connected to the terminal blocks of the zero line.
4. The wiring between the main air switch and each sub air switch in the box is generally on the left, and the outgoing line of the distribution box is generally on the right.
5. The wiring inside the box shall be straight and free of lines. The wires shall be bound with plastic ties with proper size and even spacing.
6. The bending of the conductor shall be consistent and there shall be no dead bending to prevent damage to the insulation skin of the conductor and the internal copper core.
